Doppler Faker
Brief passes with random pauses. Preview plays one pass.
Caps the added sound. Preview plays without adaptation.
Keeps the background lower than your audio and fades it out in quiet moments.
Microphone access is requested when you start. Maximum 3 minutes.
Recording ready
Compare both versions below. Playing one pauses the other.
Original
With background
Both waves use the same time and amplitude scale. A subtle background can look almost identical.
The third wave is magnified for visibility, not louder in the download. All waves show audio before file encoding.
Listen to the isolated background at its recorded level.
Frequency comparison
Inspect the actual exported audio, including the separately encoded background. Nothing is uploaded.
What changed in the export?
Orange: −12 dB · White: 0 dB · Blue: +12 dB. Values outside this range saturate. Cells below −100 dBFS in both exports are ignored.
This measures changes between decoded exports, including codec artifacts. It does not isolate the added sound or demonstrate location protection. “Minimal” means fewer than 1% of analyzed cells changed by 3 dB; this is a display criterion, not a privacy or audibility test.
Export spectrograms
20 Hz to 24 kHz · log frequency · mono average. When alignment succeeds, original and mixed show their shared interval starting at 0 s. The isolated background keeps its own export timing. The isolated export shows the encoded background, not proof it survives identically inside the mix.
Record audio or video locally with an experimental synthetic aircraft background. Compare both exports and inspect their frequency content without uploading recordings.
- Choose jet, turboprop or propeller sounds with random brief passes.
- Adapt the background level to the microphone and compare original and mixed exports.
- Analyze decoded exported audio with matching spectrogram scales.
- Processing stays on your device. Added sounds do not remove real location clues or guarantee anonymity.
- Choose audio or video, select a background and adjust its volume.
- Allow microphone or camera access, record, then stop.
- Compare and download the recordings before closing the page.
